Sharon and Lucille
Sharon Forman brings over 35 years of expertise as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) providing individual, couple and family therapy. She is a certified Core Energetics Practitioner and holds post graduate certifications in individual and couples psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has been in private practice for 17 years utilizing various modalities in the therapeutic process.
Lucille worked as a nurse for almost 40 years and now has an Advanced Certification in Core Energetics (ACCEP) and is trained in Embodied Relationships Mentoring (ERM). She also has been certified as a Yoga instructor (200 Hours) and a Meditation instructor since the early 2000’s. Her training helps her to not only know the human body from a nursing/medical perspective, but also from an energetic/emotional and an alignment and yogic perspective.
Sharon and Lucille have been together since 2001. They learned about Embodied Relationship Mentoring by first working with Marcia and Brian Gleason, the founders of the model, to grow and deepen their own relationship as a couple. This work helped them to navigate any situation that comes up between them.
They loved the power of this work so much that they decided to go through the intensive training with Marcia and Brian Gleason. They feel that working together accelerates the dismantling of unhealthy relationship narratives, distorted belief systems, and creates a unified safe space. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, they want to be part of the collective healing of their own community, which is why they heavily support couples and relationships in the LGBTQ+ community.
More About Lucille
Lucille has worked as a nurse for almost 40 years, with patients on a physical level. She feels that the beauty of nursing is the art of healing, which incorporates emotional and spiritual work as well. During those years, she began to get more and more interested in personal transformation for herself and for her relationships. This led her to Core Energetics and Embodied Relationship Trainings where she knew immediately that her passion is to bring this work to the LGBTQ+ community. It not only told her the direction she needed to go in, but also has given her the art, science and intuition to work with people in an emotionally-focused, embodied, experiential, empathy driven & evolutionary way.
All of these perspectives bring the mind, body, spirit perspective into clear view and gives her the opportunity to guide clients on a transformative journey - nurturing both individual growth and strength in partnership. Relationships of all kinds can be difficult to navigate and also be challenging or seem impossible to be your full self, but there is definitely hope.
Personally, Lucille is interested in a community where we can all live our fullest lives. Outside of her work with individuals and couples, she focuses on spending time with family, friends and their dog. She also really likes to travel, explore, enjoy art, and spend time outdoors.
Lucille supports individuals & couples to evolve together as individuals & as a couple.
